Great news!
TrailHungry LLC won first place at the University of Portland’s 100K Invention Competition for the ŪKA system. The $3,750 prize money was invested into CAD development and prototyping in order to compete in a 2018 InventOR Competition in Klamath Falls, Oregon on June 29th, 2018.
The 2018 InventOR Competition was tough, students from 11 University’s all across the State of Oregon, totaling 22 teams competed for cash prizes over $30,000. From Hydrogen powered cars to space rockets; from specialized Cheesecake bites to silicone kitchen mats that keep your fruits and vegetables fresher for two days longer. It was a fun competition! Unfortunately TrailHungry did not win in this competition but all the lessons learned are invaluable – looking forward to next year!
Best,
Adam
